My frequently used pm "Most of our problems are functions of Time".. yeah.. It's really a source of many problems.. you have limited time & many things to do.. IF you did so, you won't be able to do so & so.. Accordingly, some people may get annoyed from you or at least you won't be taking the responsibility you are put in & that's not right.. IF you did all wt you wanted to do, you will end up DEAD Tired & not being able to do anything later on.. Its all an endless loop... I was trying to set a Time Plan for the coming 2 weeks now & I really couldn't find any time to do any thing from the things I'm supposed to do.. & If I compress the plan this week.. by the end of next week I'll have TONS & TONS of things to do.. really I felt so upset.. so pressured.. so squeezed.. & so tired..

I don't have time to be myself.. I wish to find time to be a student, a daughter, a granddaughter, a sister, a programmer, a friend, a good muslim, a sports player, a Books & news reader, a relative, an ACMer....... & much of more a human...
who should be balmed for this.. I dunno.. maybe myself.. maybe the circumstances.. I dunno really.. but till now I find no clear solution for this.. I don't either know if that is sth temporary till I graduate from this college or that will be life long status (OH I can't imagine that really!!) !?!

I'm really confused.. I'm really tired.. so tired.. I'm taking vitamins nowadays in order to be able to rise from bed.. I think I can't continue like that !!

Why am I writing this here.. I dunno.. maybe stress relieving.. anyway, here I am.. wasting time writing this.. I'd better go to bed now........

Silence...

Silence is a relative or total lack of sound.

That's "Silence" definition as found on Wikipedia.. I totally agree with this definition, but maybe I can add more definitions for silence..

- Silence: When someone is there & not there at the same time, he talks to you, but the words are said just cause he had to talk.. in this case, I feel the other person is silent & I can hear nth but silence..

- Silence: Is the action when noone talks, but you.. you hear nth but your own words.. Although they maybe others sitting there, but in this case I hear nth but silence...

- Silence: When words are said shallowly from the heart, In this case... I feel the person in front of me is not talking... cause words aren't coming from his heart... he's almost silent to me..

I dunno, but just thoughts came to my brain.....

أحب الأشياء إلى الله

مِن أحب الأشياء إلى الله تعالى :

1- الصلاة وبر الوالدين والجهاد ؛ لقول النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم : « أحب الأعمال إلى الله : الصلاة لوقتها ، ثم بر الوالدين ، ثم الجهاد في سبيل الله » [ متفق عليه ] .

2- الإيمان وصلة الرحم والأمر بالمعروف والنهي عن المنكر ؛ لقول النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم : « أحبّ الأعمال إلى الله : إيمان بالله ، ثم صِلَة الرَّحم ، ثم الأمر بالمعروف والنهي عن المنكر » [ رواه أبو يعلى وحسَّنه الألباني ] .

3- المداومة على الطاعات ؛ لقول النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم : « أحب الأعمال إلى الله أدومها وإن قلّ » [ متفق عليه ] .

4- ذكر الله عز وجل ؛ لقول النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم : « أحب الأعمال إلى الله ، أن تموت ولسانك رطب من ذِكْر الله » [ رواه الطبراني وحسَّنه الألباني ] .

5- كلمة الحق عند سلطانٍ جائر ؛ لقول النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم : « أحبّ الجهاد إلى الله كلمةُ الحق تقال لإمامٍ جائر » [ رواه أحمد وحسَّنه الألباني ] .

6- صدق الحديث ؛ لقوله صلى الله عليه وسلم : « أحبّ الحديث إليّ أصْدقه » [ رواه البخاري ] .

7- صيام وصلاة داود عليه السلام ؛ لقول النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم : « أحبّ الصيام إلى الله صيام داود ، كان يصوم يوماً ويفطر يوماً ، وأحبّ الصلاة إلى الله صلاة داود ، كان ينام نصف الليل ، ويقوم ثلثه ، وينام سدسه » [ متفق عليه ] .

8- قول سبحان الله وبحمده ؛ لقول النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم : « أحب الكلام إلى الله أن يقول العبد : سبحان الله وبحمده » [ رواه مسلم ] .

9- قول : سبحان الله ، والحمد لله ، ولا إله إلا الله ، والله أكبر ؛ لقوله صلى الله عليه وسلم : « أحب الكلام إلى الله تعالى أربع : سبحان الله ، والحمد لله ، ولا إله إلا الله ، والله أكبر . لا يضرُّك بأيِّهن بدأت » [ رواه مسلم ] .

10- حَسَنُ الخُلُق ؛ لقول النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم : « أحب عباد الله إلى الله أحسنهم خُلُقاً » [ رواه الطبراني وصحَّحه الألباني ] .

11- نَفْع الناس وإدخال السرور على المسلمين وكَشْف الكُرُبات ، وقضاء دَيْن المَدِين ، وإطعام الجائع ؛ لقول النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم : « أحبّ الناس إلى الله أنفعهم للناس ، وأحبّ الأعمال إلى الله عز وجل سرور تدخله على مسلم ، أو تكشف عنه كربةً ، أو تقضي عنه دَيناً ، أو تطرد عنه جوعاً ، ولأن أمشي مع أخي المسلم في حاجة أحب إليَّ من أن أعتكف في المسجد شهراً ، ومن كفَّ غضبه سَتَرَ الله عورته ، ومن كَظَمَ غيظاً ولو شاء أن يُمضيه أمضاه ، ملأ الله قلبه رضاً يوم القيامة ، ومَن مشى مع أخيه المسلم في حاجته حتى يثبتها له ، أثبت الله تعالى قدمه يوم تزلُّ الأقدام ، وإن سوء الخُلُق ليُفْسد العمل كما يُفْسد الخلُّ العَسَل » [ رواه ابن أبي الدنيا وحسَّنه الألباني ]

Great Hadeeth

قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:
(إن الله وملائكته وأهل السماوات والأرض حتى النملة في جحرها وحتى الحوت ليصلون على معلم الناس الخير)
رواه الترمذي

Starting from the ant, which is the smallest creature we can see & up to the Whale, which is the biggest creature..
Ya rab nekoon yoom men "mo3alemeen el nas al 7'ayr".. Alllahum Ameen..

More than just a Party...

I'm not used to write very personal things here (I don't know why I made this blog actually), but I think maybe this post can be an exception...

Last Thursday was the ACM-ASCIS Welcome Party.. The party was wonderful.. mm.. with some small mistakes.. but I think we learned a lot from those mistakes (I did actually)..

Anyway... For me, it was more than just a party.. well.. The past 2 weeks before this party, I was having so many problems (el 7amdolellah).. & esp @ college.. I was really so depressed from everything.. my dreams began to fade away & that was increasing when we had small provoking problems (like posters hanging, throwing away our T U stuff.. etc)
Although the results appeared & el 7amdolellah, it was good.. but that didn't change a lot of my status.. I felt that one should leave this country after graduation cause there's no hope to make anything in it better.. I never in my life was so much depressed as those 2 weeks... till the day of the party...

What the party made to me??.. well.. I began to feel "Hope" again..
I saw it in the eyes of the attendants in this party.. I saw it in the "Team work" from all our team members... I saw it in the "commitment" of everyone of us.. & much of more, I FELT it deep inside...
el 7amdolellah.. THANK YOU everyone cause this party returned life back to me...

& here I am.. still dreaming & still hoping.. :)

Self Control..

A great true story about Sayedna Ali (one of Al Sa7aba - companions- of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) )...

During a battle, sayyedina Ali, found himself face to face with a kafir (not muslim) who attacked him violently. They were both brave and powerful men, but the kafir was no match for sayyedina Ali, who soon was sitting astride his chest, ready to finish him off.

"I invite you to bear witness that there is no god except Allah, and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah," said Ali. "Accept Islam, and your life will be spared."

"Never!" panted the kafir.

Sayyidina Ali lifted his sword and was just about to plunge it into his enemy, when the kafir spat defiantly in his face.

Much to the kafir's surprise, sayyidina Ali immediately jumped away from his enemy and lowered his sword.

"Go away!" said sayyidina Ali, "I cannot kill you now."

"Why did you do that?" asked the kafir."You could have killed me easily."

"I was fighting you purely in the way of Allah," replied Ali, "but when you spat in my face, your insult made me angry and if I had killed you in anger, it would have taken me to the HellFire - so I had no choice but to let you go. To kill someone in anger or out of desire for revenge is not bravery, but the act of a coward."

On hearing this, the kafir was so impressed by sayyidina Ali's sincerity and self-control that he embraced Islam on the spot: "I bear witness that there is no god but Allah," he said, "and I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah"

Stay Sharp..

Please, Read this story deeply... I think many of us need it..

Once upon a time a very strong woodcutter asked for a job in a timber merchant, and he got it. The pay was really good and so were the work conditions. For that reason,the woodcutter was determined to do his best.

His boss gave him an axe and showed him the area where he was supposed to work. The first day, the woodcutter brought 18 trees.

"Congratulations," the boss said. "Go on that way!"

Very motivated for the boss' words, the woodcutter try harder the next day,but he only could bring 15 trees. The third day he try even harder, but he only could bring 10 trees. Day after day he was bringing less and less trees. "I must be losing my strength", the woodcutter thought. He went to the boss and apologized, saying that he could not understand what was going on.

"When was the last time you sharpened your axe?" the boss asked. "Sharpen? I had no time to sharpen my axe. I have been very busy trying to cut trees."

Our lives are like that. We sometimes get so busy that we don't take time to sharpen the axe." In today's world, it seems that everyone is busier than ever, but less happy than ever. Why is that? Could it be that we have forgotten how to stay sharp?

There's nothing wrong with activity and hard work. But God doesn't want us to get so busy that we neglect the truly important things in life, like taking time to pray, to read, to be near to our family. We all need time to relax, to think and meditate, to learn and grow.

If we don't take time to sharpen the axe, we will become dull and lose our effectiveness. So start today. Think about the ways by which you could do your job more effectively and add a lot of value to it..
